Kelly, Pauline Virginia Pauline Virginia Kelly, died Saturday, December 6, 2003 in Chandler, Arizona at the age of 90. She was born March 5, 1913 in Stumptown, West Virginia to the late Howard L. & Flora (BOONE) BALL. Pauline was a loving mother and grandmother to her family and was crafty with her hands and enjoyed knitting, crocheting and cooking. She moved to Arizona in 2000 from White Oak, North Carolina and while living in White Oak she was a tour guide at Harmony Hall which was the home of Revolutionary War hero, Colonel Richardson. She was also a member of the Live Oak Baptist Church in Live Oak, NC. Pauline is survived by her son, Lynn Bourne (Tommie); grandchildren: Aaron Bourne (Tisha), Paula Johnson (Erik), Pamela O'Brien (Roger); great-grandchildren: Brock & Logan Bourne, Brittany & Thomas Barnard, Baylee O'Brien; sisters: Maxine Wise and Hope Moore. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Spencer Kelly; brother, Hadsel B. Ball; and sons: Harold Keith Bourne and Gerald Lee Bourne. Graveside services were held at The City of Mesa Cemetery, 1212 N. Center Street in Mesa, Arizona. Memorial contributions in her name to the Arizona Humane Society, 9226 N. 13 Ave., Phoenix, AZ 85021 or to The Harmony Hall Restoration Committee, Route 1, Box 93 White Oak, NC 28399 have been suggested by her family.
