| Kortsen, Hans Theodore "Ted" Hans Theodore "Ted" Kortsen, 84, passed away Wednesday, October 29, 2003. He was born November 29, 1918 in Buckeye, AZ, the son of James and Anna Kortsen. He is survived by his wife Mildred "Sandy" Kortsen, brother Ben (JoAnn) Kortsen, five stepchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; 1 sister, 3 brothers, and 2 wives. Services were held at Meldrum Mortuary, 52 N. Macdonald, Mesa. Burial at City of Mesa Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be directed to American Heart Association National Center, 7272 Greenville Ave., Dallas, TX, 75231 or Mayo Cancer Clinic, Mayo Development Department, 2003 1st Street SW, Rochester, MN 55905.
