Judy Sandra Robison Smith, 68, of Prescott, Ariz., died Dec. 25, 2008. Judy was born in Pittsburgh, Kan., April 29, 1940, to Volney and May Robison.

She was a devoted wife to Jimmy B. Smith for 50 years and dutifully followed him all over the world through his career with the U.S. Army. Her dream of settling down in the pines of Prescott become a reality in 2000.

Judy was a loving and generous mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who was known as "Nanny" to all.

She is survived by sisters Marion Tracy, Linda Braynard and Margaret Ann Brendt. Her children are Anita Smith, Richard and Robert Smith and Paula Smith Towne and son-in-law Will Towne. Grandchildren are Rachel Luman, Britney Williford, Jennifer Price, Landon Smith, Cierra Smith, Amber Barry, Zach Smith, Garrett Smith, Cody Towne, Makayla Towne, Trevor Towne and Whysper Towne. Her great-grandchildren are Xander Price, Olivia Price and Stella Price.

Judy's fun-loving spirit and feisty sense of humor which kept all of us laughing will be missed by all that knew and loved her.

A visitation in honor of Judy will be held on Sunday, Dec. 28, 2008, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Heritage Memory Mortuary, 131 Grove Ave., Prescott, with commemoration services on Monday, Dec. 29, 2008, at 10 a.m. at the Funeral Home.

Graveside services will take place on Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2008, at 10 a.m. at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Road, Phoenix, Ariz.

Arrangements entrusted to Heritage Memory Mortuary, Prescott, Ariz.
