The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Wednesday, December 24, 2008 Deborah Ann Berve, age 48, of Prescott, died Dec. 21, 2008, in Prescott. Debbie was born June 12, 1960, in New Brunswick, N.J., to Mark Richard and Carolyn Marie (Ramesdorfer) Arnold. Debbie graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Science in Wildlife Biology. She taught high school in Fort Collins, Colo. In 1991, Debbie and her husband Bill moved to Prescott. Together they raised three amazing children, Kalie, Hannah and Luke. Debbie was the ultimate hostess - her hospitality was endless and her culinary skills were extraordinary. Each and every person felt they were #1 in her book. She loved the outdoors, including hiking, nature, skiing, camping, boating and even hunting with her family and friends as an observer. Debbie led numerous Bible studies at Calvary Chapel. She had a deep passion for God's Word and loved to share it with others. Family was very precious to Debbie. It was very important that her extended family connect with one another during holidays and special family gatherings to share love and stories. Debbie is survived by her husband of 23 years, Bill, and their children, Kalie, Hannah and Luke, all of Prescott; her father Mark Arnold, her stepmother Carolyn of Hawaii; a sister, Carol, of Denver and her children Tim, Matt, Elizabeth and Andrew; a brother, Mark, and his children Mark, Nick, Eli, Weston and Jesse; brother-in-law Tom (Cyndi) Berve and children Chris, Dan and Brendan; brother-in-law Mike (Beth) Berve and children Caitlin and Alec; brother-in-law Jim (Cathy) Berve and children Bekah and Jessi; her mother and father-in-law Tom and Marj Berve, along with numerous dear friends, too many to name. Memorial services will be noon Saturday, Dec. 27, 2008, at the Prescott Campus of the Calvary Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be directed to Compassion International, P.O. Box 12793, Prescott, Ariz., 86304, an organization that Debbie supported which ministers to children in need all over the world. The Hampton Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements.
