Katherine (Kay) (Botleman) Grannan

Katherine (Kay) Grannan passed away on Dec. 12, 2008. She was the daughter of Loren and Mildred Botleman. She was born in La Junta, Colo., and lived in Flagstaff off and on for many years since she was a young girl.

She was a graduate of Flagstaff High School. She was dedicated to her family and loved in many locations throughout the United States in support of her husband's federal career. Upon retirement in 1983 she returned to Flagstaff.

Katherine was active and held offices in many civic and retirement organizations including the Pilot Club of Flagstaff, National Association of Retired Postal Inspectors P.E.O., the Catholic Rosary Alter Society, Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, Red Hats, and the Grandmothers Club. She also enjoyed hunting and fishing during her retirement years with her husband. She went on 10 cruises and visited many countries.

In 2001 she moved to Camp Verde where she was residing at the time of her death.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years; a sister Marilyn Nevins in Cheyenne, WY; sons Roland (Teresa), Daniel and Andrew (Janell); granddaughters Sheridan, Danielle, Kate Valerie and Sarah.

Upon cremation she will be buried at a later date in the family plot in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Flagstaff.
