| Daily News Leader, Staunton, Virginia Tuesday, January 24, 2006 CLARKDALE, Ariz. - Mary Ellen Blumberg died Monday (Jan. 23, 2006) at Arizona Heart Hospital, Phoenix. She was born Feb. 5, 1923, at Craigsville, Va., to Harry Hildebrand and Laura (Sprouse) Hildebrand Carroll. Mrs. Blumberg was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Blumberg; a brother, Richard Hildebrand; and a sister, Phyllis E. McLain. Survivors include a son, Joe Blumberg of New Jersey; two brothers, Frank Hildebrand of Verona, Va., and Robert Hildebrand of Waynesboro, Va.; a half brother, Elwood Hildebrand of Craigsville; and a half sister, Tillie Cocks of Newport News, Va. Memorial services will be at a later date in Arizona. McLaughlin Funeral Home is handling arrangements. |
