The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Wednesday, February 15, 2006 Dorothy L. Score, born June 19, 1925, went to her eternal home with Jesus on Saturday, November 11, 2006 at the age of 82. Dorothy is the wife of deceased husband, Charles F. Score and is survived by daughter, Donna Duvin; sons, Ralph and Clyde; daughter-in-law, Sandy; and sister Kay Ingham. She had two grandchildren, Janna Bradshaw and Jason Wagner; and three great-grandchildren, Austin, Tyler and Tucker. This Dorothy played violin in the Seattle Symphony by age 18 and resume playing at Yavapai College, with David Dunnegan's chamber group and in church. In 1990, Dorothy sang in Carnegie Hall with the Master Chorale from Yavapai College. At different times, she directed choir and bell choir of Mingus View Church, of which she was a member. Dorothy was founder and president of the Prescott Valley Literacy Program. She was named a 'Point of Light', for volunteer efforts by President Bush. Dorothy was a life-long learner and continued mentoring adult literacy students until two months ago at The Samaritan Village where she resided. There will be a memorial service at 10:30 a.m. Monday, there were 27 2006, at Mingus View Church in Prescott Valley. She will be missed greatly by her friends and family.
