Ruthelene Emma (Crogman) Arnold

Ruthelene Emma Arnold, 87, of Middletown, formerly of Tucson, died Friday, October 6, 2006 at her home. She was the wife of Francis D. Arnold who died January 8, 2004.

Born in Celina, Ohio, July 8, 1919 she was a daughter of the late Howard William and Ella Anna Viereck Crogman.

She was employed by the Reynolds Co. in Celina, Ohio until her retirement. She was a member of the Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church in Tucson.

She is survived by two daughters, Kathy D. Schultz and husband Steve, Middletown; Lynette K. Strakbein and husband Mark, Tucson; one son, Larry D. Arnold and wife Sue, Mission Viego, Calif. another daughter-in-law, Millie Arnold, Jackson, Ohio; seven grandchildren, one great-grandson; one brother, Harry Robert Crogman, Celina, Ohio; sisters, Mary Ellen Kuhn, Celina, Ohio and Doris Ann Cook, St. Mary's, Ohio.

She was predeceased by a son, Donald G. Arnold.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 10, 2006 at the Donald B. Thompson Funeral Home, 31 E. Main St., Middletown from 6:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at which time funeral services will begin. Rev. Mark A. Wakefield, pastor of Christ Reformed UCC, Middletown will officiate. Mrs. Arnold will be moved to Eastlawn Palms Mortuary, 5801 E. Grant Rd., Tucson on Thursday, October 12 where friends may call from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at which time funeral services will begin.

Interment will be made in the Eastlawn Palms cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church Memorial Garden, 7570 N. Thornydale Rd., Tucson, Ariz., 85741-2042 or to Hospice of Frederick Co., P. O. Box 1799, Frederick, Md., 21705.
