| The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ November 12, 2008 Fern Rozelle “Rosie” Fore entered into rest Nov. 5 at the age of 91. She was born Dec. 19, 1916 in Beardstown, Ill., to Walter and Lola Mae Phelps. She spent 63 years in Illinois before retiring in 1979, after 38 years working with Franklin Life Insurance Company in Springfield, Ill. She married her beloved husband Nelson in 1949. He passed on in 1978 and “Rosie” moved to Wickenburg in 1979. Her positive attitude on life never wavered and was an inspiration to all who knew her. Her brother Bill and sister Lemoine preceded her in death. Her sisters Margie, Francis, and brother-in-law Bob live in Illinois. She is survived by 10 nieces and nephews who will all miss “Aunt Rosie.” Funeral services and visitation were held on Saturday (Nov. 8) at Wickenburg Funeral Home. Interment followed in the Wickenburg Municipal Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Wickenburg Funeral Home and Crematory. See Also: Find a Grave |
