Guillermo J. Ballesteros age 91 of Globe, Arizona passed away on December 30, 2011 at Heritage Healthcare Center.

He was born in Douglas, Arizona on June 25, 1920 Son of Jose and Gregoria (Jaramillo) Ballesteros. He worked for Arizona Public Services. When he retired he enjoyed yard work, watching old movies like Bonanza and Little House on the Prairie. He also enjoyed walking and would make several trips to Safeway just to get his exercise. His highlight of the week was to attend church on Sundays, God was a very important part of his life.

He served his country proudly in the U.S. Army during World War II. Preceded in death by his wife Edosilda M. Ballesteros on Feb. 15, 2011, and his son Arturo Ballesteros.

Guillermo is survived by his sons; Bill Ballesteros (Judy), and Francisco “Frankie” Ballesteros (Sally), his daughters Erma Ballesteros and Alice Cruz (Mac), 18 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 4, 2012, @ 9:00 A.M. @ Holy Angels Catholic Church. Rosary will start at 9:30 A.M. Mass of Christian burial will follow at 10:00 A.M.

Interment will be at Globe Cemetery
