| The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ December 24, 2008, p. A10 Dorothy M. Prichard, age 72, passed away Dec. 18 in Phoenix, Ariz. Dorothy was born in Franklin, Penn., to Frank Miller and Marie Boughner Miller. She was raised in Franklin and attended schools there. She married Bill Prichard Feb. 9, 1952 in Cooperstown, Penn., and they made their home in Utica. She worked as a certified nursing assistant for years. They moved to Arizona in 1970 settling in Wickenburg. She returned to school, receiving her credentials as a surgical technician in 1979. She worked at the Wickenburg Community Hospital for more than 30 years. Dorothy volunteered at several charity events in the community over the years. She was preceded in death by husband Bill on Aug. 10, 2008. She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law Patricia and Jerry Brown of Scottsdale, Cindy and Jesse Maldonado of Phoenix, and Brenda and Thom Moore of Glendale; a brother Ron Miller of Congress; grandchildren Stacy Burrows, Jake, Joel, and Jeremy Heathman, and Tyler Moore all of Phoenix; great-grandchildren Taylor Burrows, Nicolas, Rayce, Cali, Kaydance Heathman and Devin Deveraux. The family suggests any memorial contributions in Dorothy’s memory be made to Hospice of the Valley Sherman House at 5801 E. Mayo Blvd. Phoenix, AZ 85054. |
