Sylvia Jannette (Jan) (Cline) Carroll

Sylvia "Jan" Carroll was a 20 year resident of Prescott, Ariz. She was born in Hendricks County, Indiana on June 5, 1922, the daughter of Orla and Lorena Cline. Sylvia died Dec. 31, 2008 in Las Fuentes Care Center.

She was a graduate of Butler University, following a long employment as a secretary. She taught for 11 years in special education. Jan was a member for 20 years of St. Paul Anglican Church where her husband Paul of 59 years still attends. They were married May 13, 1949 and shared many years of love and memories.

Jan is survived by her loving husband Paul of Prescott; brother Verl of Covington, Ind.; and two nieces.

A Memorial service will be in late May 2009 at St. Paul Anglican Church.

Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral home assisted the family with final arrangements.
