The Verde Independent, Verde Valley, Arizona Friday, March 9, 2007 Floyd 'Corky' Fulks Floyd James "Corky" Fulks, 75, of Camp Verde, died March 5, 2007. He was born March 1, 1923, in Salina, Okla., to Colman Alexander and Pauline Stewart (Chapman) Fulks. Floyd was a U.S. Army veteran. He was owner and operator of Corky's Air Conditioning Company. He was also very active in the Fort Verde Days Parade for many years. Corky also raised miniature horses. He leaves behind his wife of 56 years, Jeanne of Camp Verde; his sons, Charles (Patricia) of Glendale, Samuel (Sharon) also of Glendale, Nathan (Pamela) of Phoenix; his daughter, Selena (Paul) of Clarkdale; his brother, Sherl (Anita) of Kingman; his sisters, Edith of Murietta, Calif., and Sue of Camp Verde; as well as nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
