The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Saturday, January 03, 2009 Mary Sylvia, 94, of Humboldt, Ariz., died Saturday, Dec. 27, 2008, in Prescott, Ariz. She was born July 5, 1914, in Prescott, Ariz. Mary was a great hunter and fisherman and loved all that pertained to the great outdoors. She is survived by her son Anthony Sylvia of Hillside, Ariz.; granddaughters Jeri Anne McFarlane of Riverton, Wyo., and Carmen Engle of Wilhoit, Ariz.; and great-grandchildren Rene, Jessica, Rachel and Forrest. She was a good friend to many, many people; no one was a stranger. She will be missed by many. The family wishes to thank Hospice for their wonderful concern and care of our loved one. A graveside service was 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2008, at the Mountain View Cemetery in Prescott, Ariz. Services were entrusted to Hampton Funeral Home. Information provided by survivors.
