Frederick C. (Freddie) Wetlaufer

Frederick "Freddie" C. Wetlaufer II, beloved son, husband, father and grandpa, went to be with our Heavenly Father on Friday, Dec. 26, 2008, after battling long illnesses. Born on Oct. 17, 1941, in Oelwein, Iowa, he was the son of Frederick and Jean (Rademaker) Wetlaufer. He was 67 years old.

Fred was a Materials Manager for mines throughout Arizona for more than 30 years. He enjoyed bowling and visiting the local casinos. Freddie adored his two dogs, a chihuahua, Precious, and a Yorkie, Maggie. He was most proud of his children and grandchildren.

Freddie is survived by his mother Jean Wetlaufer; his beloved wife of 41 years, Mary; daughter and son-in-law Jill and Craig Strasner; son Charles Wetlaufer; adopted son William Scoggins; grandchildren Jade and Chaz; and brother Mark Wetlaufer. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. We love you, Dad.

A celebration of Freddie's life took place Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2008, at his home, 8860 Yavapai Road, Apt. B, Prescott Valley, Ariz.
