Paul J. Nave died on Dec. 23, 2008, in Prescott, Ariz. He was 74 years old. Paul was born on Sept. 13, 1934, in Jefferson City, Mo., son of Paul and Violet Nave. He married his sweetheart, Nina Marie, on Sept. 23, 2005.

Paul was employed at Wulfsberg Electronics as an avionics technician. He lived in Arizona since 1971 and previously resided in Alabama. He enjoyed his children, grandchildren, music, skating, flying his airplanes and working in his shop. He was most proud of his family and his accomplishments.

He is survived by his loving wife, Nina, of Chino Valley; daughters Leslie (Rodney) Lee and Marie Logan, both of Chino Valley; son Dan (Julie) Nave of Prescott; their mother Jane Morris; stepdaughters Tanya McAlister and Amy (Thomas) Flynn, both of Jacksonville, Ill., and Christina Shoemaker of Cleburne, Texas; grandchildren Jamie, Samantha, Jacob, Trevor, Kyle, Lindsay, Wednesday, Sara, Caleb, Benjamin, Damien, Samantha Star; great-grandchildren Azariah, Trey, Andrew, Dylan and Hailey; and brother John (Wanda) Nave of Olathe, Kan. He is preceded in death by his brother Robert L. Nave. He will be greatly missed.

A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 3, 2009, at the American Lutheran Church, 1085 Scott Drive, Prescott.
