Howard O. Frazier - July 4, 1922 - Dec. 26, 2008

Howard Frazier, loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, has gone to his final resting place. He was under the care of the VA Hospice Crisis Center. Howard was born in Salina, Kan., to Oliver and Mabel (Calkins) Frazier, who preceded him in death, along with two brothers and one sister. Howard served in the 161st Infantry Ground Combat against the Japanese forces on Guadalcanal and he was very proud of his services to his country. Howard retired from IRW Systems, Redondo Beach, Calif., after 20-plus years, at which time he and his wife moved to Prescott Valley in 1984.

Howard leaves his loving wife, Virginia, of 65 years; sons David of Kernville, Calif., and Phillip of Silverthorne, Colo.; two granddaughters, one grandson and two great-grandsons. Howard will be remembered and missed by all of his family and friends.

There will be no services per his request.

Hampton Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements. To leave a message for the family, please visit www.hamptonfuneralhome.com and sign Howard's guestbook.
