Laveta J. Stewart

Laveta Jean Stewart, 63, of Cornville, died on March 6, 2007, in Payson.
She was born on Jan. 15, 1944, in Miami, Ariz. Lavata was a former
resident of Payson, and was retired from the Cottonwood-Oak Creek School
District. She was married to the late Melvin Stewart.

She is survived by her father Gene McDaniel and step-mother Stella
McDaniel; daughters Laurie Brunson of Payson, Kelly Pendergrass of Palo
Verde, and Renee Teeters of Camp Verde; a sister Carol Bates of Laveen;
six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, March 10, at the First Southern
Baptist Church, 302 S. Ash St., in Payson. In lieu of flowers please
make donations to RTA Hospice, 511 S. Mud Spring Road, Payson AZ 85541.
