| The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Saturday, June 12, 2004 Norma L. Sears, age 92, of Scottsdale, Arizona passed away on June 9, 2004. Private family services to be held. Arrangements entrusted to Best Funeral Services, Inc. ---------------------------------------- Norma L. Sears Born in El Dorado, Kansas on Nov. 5, 1922 Departed on May 5, 2002 and resided in Cottonwood, AZ. Norma Lucuren Sears, 79, of Cottonwood died May 5th. She was born El Dorado, Kansas on November 5, 1922. Mrs. Sears was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She leaves two daughters, Barbara Schultz of Bedford, Texas and Carla Moosman of Cottonwood; a sister, Faye Pettyjohn of Northridge, California; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 9 in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at 11:30. Burial will follow in the Valley View Cemetery. The family requests donations in her memory may be made to the St. Judes Childrens Hospital, P O Box 318, Memphis, Tenn., 38104. Westcott Funeral Home is handling these arrangements.
