Eulala Thornton of Maricopa, and formerly of Wickenburg, died Dec. 31 in Phoenix. She was 90.

Mrs. Thornton was born in Mineral Wells, Texas. on April 18, 1906. She was a longtime resident of Arizona and Wickenburg, moving to the state when she was 10 years old and to Wickenburg in 1966.

Mrs. Thornton was a devoted wife and mother. She was a very skilled seamstress and enjoyed cooking.

She was preceded in death by her husband Otho Thornton in 1966.
Survivors include daughters Monica Goetz and Joan Grandinetti, both of Phoenix; sons Jerry of Phoenix, Harry of Yuma, and Wayne of Aguila; 16 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m.

Friday, Jan. 3 at the Wickenburg Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Bill Root officiating.

Brown's Wickenburg Funeral Home handled all the arrangements.
