James (Jimmy) Scott

James "Jimmy" Scott of Scott's Junction died Jan. 3 at Del. E. Webb Memorial Hospital in Sun City West.

Mr. Scott was born March 22, 1928 in Tulsa, Okla. He had lived in Arizona for the past 40 years.

Jimmy had many passions in life, from car salesman to mechanic. He also enjoyed restoring cars as well, as racing them. His greatest passion was owning and operating Scott's Junction Wrecking and Towing since 1961.

Along with his work, he loved spending time with his grandchildren and caring for his dogs. He will be missed dearly by those who knew him and loved him throughout his life.

Survivors include his companion Linda Scott; daughters Cindy Roer of Wikieup, Linda Kekic of Freemont, Calif., and Sandra Tyndell of Atlanta, Ga.; sister Judy; brothers Ronald, John, Jerry and Tom; granddaughter Jennifer; grandsons Tye, Jacob, Arron, Michael, John, David, Keith, Kenny and Zachary; uncle and aunt Joe and Madeline Coy; three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday, Jan. 8) at Brown's Wickenburg Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. George Thornton will officiate. Visitation was held Tuesday, Jan. 7 at Brown's Wickenburg Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m.

Brown's Wickenburg Funeral Home handled all the arrangements.
