| The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ February 5, 1997 Rita Mae Thompson of Sun City and formerly a longtime Wickenburg resident, died Jan. 16 in the Sun Health Center in Sun City. She was 89. Mrs. Thompson was born April 22, 1907 in Fremont, Mich. She had lived in Arizona for the past 27 years. Mrs. Thompson and her husband Ted, who preceded her in death, moved to Wickenburg in 1970 after his retirement from Michigan Bell Telephone Co. Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law Richard and Sandra Thompson and James and Bonnie Thompson; son-in-law and daughter George and Pat Potter; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Services have been held. |
