| The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ February 5, 1997 Billy Joe Pettle of Wickenburg, died Feb. 2 in Wickenburg. He was 70. Mr. Pettle was born Aug. 19,1926 in Bessie, Okla. He had lived in Wickenburg for the past 40 years. Survivors include his wife, Betty Pettle of Wickenburg; daughter, Cecile Ann Pettle, of Phoenix; and brothers Lloyd Pettle of Oklahoma City, Cecil Pettle of Clinton, Okla., Robert Pettle of Mesa and Orville Pettle of Phoenix. Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 6 at Whitney and Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road in Phoenix. Pastor Robert M. Johnston III will officiate. |
