| Statesman Journal, Salem, Oregon Tuesday, November 7, 2000 April 12, 1906 - Oct. 26, 2000 GILBERT, Ariz. - Oral Matthew, 94, died Oct. 26. She was born in Madison County, Iowa, and after graduating from high school worked for the county for 12 years. She moved to Salem in 1938 and owned and operated a beauty shop. She married Melville Rhoten Matthew, who died in 1958. She moved to Gilbert in 1997. She was a member of Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughter, Joline Dolan of Gilbert two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. At her request, no services will be held. Inurnment will be at Jason Lee Cemetery in Salem. Arrangements are by Bunker's Desert View Chapel, Mesa, Ariz. Transcribers note: Maiden name was Tobin, b. April 12, 1906, Madison County, Iowa. |
