MARILYN ANN YOUNG

Marilyn Ann Young, daughter of Lucille and Raymond Alexander, passed away April 12, 1970 at Maryvale hospital in Phoenix, Arizona. She was born February 26, 1939.

Most of her life was spent around Winterset, with the exception of two years in Denver, Colorado and the past five years residing in Phoenix.

She graduated from Winterset high school in 1957. She was a member of the Grace Baptist church.

Ann was married to Kenneth Ray Young of Earlham at the Little Brown Church, Nashua, on August 2, 1957. She leaves her husband and two daughters, Kristy Ann, age 11, and Vickie Jo, age 10; her parents and four brothers, Eugene and John of Winterset, Eddie of Van Meter and Donald of Northglenn, Colorado, and her maternal grandmother, Mrs. Nora Clark, of Winterset. Also a host of relatives and friends.

One sister preceded her in death.

Services were held at the Collins Funeral Home in Winterset on Thursday, April 16. Rev. Ward Young conducted the service. Music was provided by Mrs. Charles Martens accompanied at the organ by Mrs. William K. Easter. Casket bearers were Merrill Adams, Kellar Cline, Wayne Griffith, Gailen Ham, Gayle McKee and Bill Young.

Interment was in the Winterset cemetery.
