Halima (Farhadh) Sondraker

Halima Sondraker (80) left this world on Jan. 13, 2009, Tuesday.

Born Aug. 27, 1928, she was the eldest of seven siblings and is survived by Rasheeda Clawson and Jamil Farhadh both residing in California.

Halima had lived in Cottonwood for the past 30 years. Her two daughters, Sarah Fuller (Mike) and Rashida Harding (Tyler) live in Cottonwood.

Her grandchildren, Gene, Jason F., Hallie, Aztechan, Erin, Jason H. and Tahirih, live in various parts of the United States.

She has 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.

Halima traveled widely, was a talented & creative artist and homemaker, enjoyed gardening, and nurtured family and friends with unequaled love.

Halima was a student of The Infinite Way.

She was preceded in death by her husband Gordon Sondraker and three of her grandchildren Jay, Halima, and Harriet.

A family memorial was held in her honor.
