George Wilson Gann

George Wilson Gann Jr., age 82, of Prescott, passed away Jan. 13, 2009 at the Margaret T. Morris Care Center. George was born on June 20, 1926 here in Prescott, on North Pleasant St.

He served in the United States Navy from 1944 to 1946. He then attended ASU and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree. He went to work right away for TransAmerica Title Company in Phoenix and retired 31-years later. He lived in Phoenix until 2001. He returned to Prescott where he spent his last years.

"Uncle" George is survived by nieces and nephews who will miss him greatly.

Private memorial services will be at Hampton Funeral Home.
