Lyman C. Tenney passed on to join his beloved Alaire on Jan. 7, 2009. He was born Oct. 10, 1918 in Willcox, Ariz. to Nathan Orson and Myrtle (Wear) Tenney.

He married Alaire Browning in 1942 - a union that lasted 65 years. Their lives were full of amazing experiences from the rugged rangeland of Arizona to the vast reaches of Australia where they are legend.

Lyman was preceded in death by his wife Alaire, parents and eight siblings. He leaves behind a sister Pearl Romney; sons, James Lyman (Marion) Tenney, Tommy Todd (Peta) Tenney; adopted son Cody Darryl (Sharon) Browning; grandchildren, Jean (Tony) Albright, Cindy Lee, Tammy (Colby) Paquette, Lyman (Mary) Tenney, Jacob (Renae) Tenney, Cotton Tenney, Cathy Hooker and Jeanette Carlisle; and 15 great grandchildren.

Memorial service is scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 17, 2009 at the Ruth Street LDS Chapel in Prescott, Ariz. After the funeral we will go directly to the gym for visiting and food.
