Charles Henry Lamb

Charles Henry Lamb of Clarkdale, Ariz., passed away in his sleep August 7, 2005. Mr. Lamb, 83, was born February 23, 1922 in Montana.

His parents, Thomas E. and Mary Frances Lamb moved Chuck and his siblings to Arizona in 1927 where he resided a large part of his life.

Chuck was a Veteran of World War II with the 379 Regiment/ 95th Infantry. A group of men held in high regard by Mr. Lamb, he attended yearly reunions with the 95th until 2004.

He is lovingly survived by his daughter, Mary Jane Stiles and grandchildren, Fred Stiles, Amy Zale and Dr. Troy Stiles. Additionally Chuck is survived by his great grandchildren Shay & Shelby Stiles and Kameron, Connor & Carson Zale as well as his sister, Shirley Carroll and very dear friend Elaine Schack.

A visitation will be held Friday, August 12, from 5-8pm at Greenwood Memory Lawn Chapel 719 N. 27th Ave., Phoenix.

A Funeral Services are 10 am, Saturday, August 13th at St. Mary's Basilica 400 E. Monroe St. Phoenix. Following the funeral service there will be a formal Military service at Greenwood Memory Lawn Cemetery 2300 W. Van Buren Rd., Phoenix, Ariz.
