| The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Wednesday, June 18, 2008 Maria Rodriguez, 88, of Clarkdale, Az passed away on Friday June 13, 2008. Visitation will be held at Westcott Funeral Home in Cottonwood, Ariz. on Wednesday, June 18, 2008 from 5-7 p.m. with the Rosary to begin at 6 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, also in Cottonwood on Thursday, June 19, 2008 at 9:30 a.m. Following, Interment will take place at Valley View Cemetery in Clarkdale, Az. -------------------------- Maria Rodriguez Born in Allison, New Mexico on Dec. 11, 1919. Departed on June 13, 2008 and resided in Clarkdale, Ariz. Maria Rodriguez, 88, resident of Clarkdale, passed away at home on Friday, l June 13, 2008. She was born December 11, 1919 in Allison, New Mexico to Jesus Jose and Celsa (Garcia) Diaz. Maria was a member of the St. Cecilia Catholic Church. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, gardening, traveling and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed life in a special way that will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is preceded in death by husband, Jesus O. Rodriguez; and her daughter, Maria Minerva of Clarkdale, three brothers; and three sisters. She leaves behind four sons, David (Kathleen) Rodriguez of Clarkdale, Ariz., Albert (Dianne) Rodriguez of Tucson, Ariz., and Michael Rodriguez of Clarkdale, Ariz., and Richard Rodriguez of Las Vegas, Nev.; two daughters, Maria Mor of Turrane, Calif., and Sylvia Rodriguez of Carson, Calif.; 16 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. A Visitation will be held at Westcott Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 18, 2008 from 5-7 p,m, with the Rosary beginning at 6pm. Funeral Mass will be held at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church on Thursday, June 19, 2008 at 9:30 a.m. with interment to follow at the Valley View Cemetery in Clarkdale.
