Ruebin Dwain Hinze

Dwain Hinze, of Prescott, Ariz. was born Jan. 24, 1934, and died May 14, 2004.

Survivors include his wife, Gayle Hinze; his daughter, Elaine Rochelle of Phoenix; his son, Allen Dwain Hinze of Phoenix; his sister, Ann Nadeau of Indio, Calif.; his father, Ruebin Hinze, born April 19, 1903, in Dot County Falls, Texas, and passed away April 27, 1979; his mother, Ella Mae Hinze, born Feb. 2, 1909, in Commache County, Texas, and passed away July 26, 1976.

Dwain worked for Oscar Mayer as Account Manager for the largest single account in the company, Von's Grocery, on the West Coast.

He was born in Old Glory, Texas. The family moved to Imperial, Calif., when he was 5 years old. He lived in California until 12 years ago he and his wife moved to Prescott.

Dwain was in the Army 41st Engineers Bs. He was City Councilman in Imperial Valley, Calif. and President of the Homeowners Association in Valencia, Calif., for eight years.

There will be a memorial Wednesday, at 2 p.m., at the Prescott First Church of Nazarene, 2110 Willow Creek Road.

Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home assisted the family with the arrangements.
