Shirley Jean Walker passed away March 16, 2012 in Las Vegas, Nev., at the age of 67. Shirley was born Aug. 20, 1944, in Murphysboro, Ill., to James and Velma (Weisenbach) Watkins.

Shirley was an amazing woman. She found her soul mate and they had been married for 32 years. They moved to Lake Havasu City about 20 years ago and have been inseparable ever since. Everyone loved her beautiful smile and warm personality. Shirley was an animal lover and always made sure her bunnies and quail were taken care of. She especially loved her son (her dog) Shadow Poo. Shirley will be truly missed. Heaven has received another angel.

Shirley is survived by her loving husband and soul mate, Dick Walker; brother, Harold Watkins, of Bakersfield, Calif.; sisters, Nancy Nichols, of Las Vegas, Nev., and Carol Wehmeyer, of Murphysboro, Ill.; and her God-daughter, Brittany; and her God-granddaughter, Serenity.

Arrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory.
