Sharon (Miller) Kobayashi

Dr. Sharon Miller-Kobayashi, 55, formerly of Prescott, died April 15, 2004, at her home in Tucson, Ariz., following a courageous battle with cancer.

Sharon served as faculty and administrator at Yavapai College before becoming Provost and Professor of Humanities at DeAnza Community College in Calif.

She was preceded in death by her father, Dallis Miller. Sharon is survived by her husband, Masato; daughter Acoma; son-in-law, Brett Beaty; grandson Mathias Beaty; mother, Edna Barker Miller; sisters, Susie Crow and Alice Street; brother, Ben H. Miller; four niees and four nephews and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 20th, at the Catalina Catholic Mission in Tucson, Ariz.

Graveside services will be held at the Mountain View Cemetery in Prescott on Wednesday, April 21, at 2 p.m.

Donations can be sent in lieu of flowers to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, P.O. Box 65039, Dallas, Texas, 75265-0309.
