John Edward Krcmarik, age 81, died April 14, 2004, in Prescott, Ariz. He was born March 1, 1923, in Raymond, Neb., to Charles and Josephine (Wagner) Krcmarik.

John worked for North Island Air Force Base as a jet engine technician for over 20 years before his retirement. John served his country during WWII, in the U.S. Army, where he received a Bronze Star for his meritorious service in France, Belgium and Germany, from July of 1944 to April of 1945. John was a member of the American Legion and NARFE.

He enjoyed dancing with his wife, Marjorie, especially square dancing, clogging and ballroom dancing.

John will be missed by his family and friends.

John is survived by his wife of 61 years, Marjorie of Prescott Valley; his sons, John (Joyce) Krcmarik, David Krcmarik; his daughter, Joanne (David) Carpenter Hopkins;, nine grandchildren; and 16 great-grand-children.

The family will honor John's wishes and no services are planned. Memorial contributions may be made in honor of John's memory to: The Prescott Valley United Methodist Church, 8944 East Sommer Drive, Prescott Valley, Ariz., 86314.
