Genevieve R. (Babe) (Roth) Hauck

Genevieve (Babe) R. Hauck, nee Roth,of Humboldt, Ariz., formerly of Champlin, Minn.; born in Minneapolis, Minn., April 9, 1917, to Oliver and Margaret Roth; passed away in Prescott, Ariz., on August 5, 2007.

Genevieve was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband of 62 years, Edward A. Hauck; and son-in-law, Richard D. Atanasoff.

Genevieve is survived by her only daughter, Joyce M. Atanasoff; 3 grandchildren, Patti (Bud) Hartfiel, of Rice, Minn.; Edward (Jaynie) Atanasoff, of Rogers, Minn.; and Anne (Kevin) Knowles, of Apple Valley, Minn.; seven great grandchildren, Jessica, P.J., Nick, Brianna, Brady, Andie and Jack; two great-great grandchildren, Tayja and Sadie; brother-in-law, Bud (Mary Lou), Sage, of Grand Rapids, Minn.; and many nieces and nephews.

Genevieve was a member of Humboldt American Legion Post 78 Auxiliary, Bradshaw Mountain Eastern Star, charter member of Champlin, American Legion Post 600 Auxiliary. Her special interest included bird watching, crocheting and horses.

The family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to all who assisted in her care and well being over the past few years; with special thanks to Dr. J. Dan Morris, the staff of Good Samaritan Village in Prescott, Ariz., and hospice volunteers during her last days.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials to Bradshaw Mountain Shriners "Clothe-A-Child".

A Memorial Service in honor of Genevieve will be held Monday, August 13, 2007, 1:00 p.m., at Sunrise Funeral Home Chapel, 8167 E. Hwy 69, Prescott Valley, Ariz.
