Georgia (Reagan) Kenson

Georgia Reagan Kenson, age 88, of Prescott, passed away from natural causes on May 1, 2004. She was born to James P. and Annis Ella (Bouldin) Reagan, a Pioneer Arizona Family, in Springerville, Ariz., on May 20, 1915.

The family moved to Phoenix in the 1920's. There she met William E. (Bill) Kenson and was married in September of 1932.

She is survived by their two children, William A. (Bill and Carole) Kenson of Peoples Valley, Ariz. and Jeri Conklin Robson of Wickenburg, Ariz.

The family lived in various areas of Yavapai County, before moving to Prescott in 1940, where Bill went to work for the Santa Fe Railroad.

Georgia was active in Women of the Moose. Monday Club, Railroad Auxiliary, and was a member of the Methodist Church. She was a fantastic homemaker and mother.

Bill and Georgia celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary, shortly before Bill lost his life in an accident, in January of 1983.

They especially enjoyed times with their family, hunting, fishing, and traveling.

Georgia's father, James P. Reagan was also born in Springerville, Ariz. in 1888 and her mother, Allie Annis Archer who was born in Oklahoma Territory in 1892.

She was the eldest of five sisters. Two sisters have preceded her in death, Dorothy Miller and Gwen Reagan. She is survived by two sisters, Gertrude Latham of Glendale, Ariz. and Betty Bryan of Bullhead City, Ariz.; her grandchildren, Sherri (Howard) Conklin Kalender of Kansas City, David (Laurie) Conklin of Wickenburg, Ariz., Kimberly (David) Kenson Miller of Gilbert, Douglas (Carolyn) Conklin of Wickenburg, Mark (Kathy) Kenson of Prescott, Deidre (Bob) Conklin Schena of Philadelphia and Alan (Wendy) Kenson of Skull Valley, Ariz. She also leaves 18 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Services will be held on Thursday, May 6th, at Heritage Memory Mortuary, 131 Grove St., Prescott, Ariz.

Visitation will be held at 10 a.m. and services at 11 a.m., with internment at Mountain View Cemetery to follow.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Prescott Valley Hospice, P.O. Box 26565, Prescott Valley, Ariz., 86314.

Services are entrusted to Heritage Memory Mortuary.
