Jeanne Ann (Fleming) Goss

Jeanne Ann Goss, 76, of Chino Valley, Ariz., surrounded by her family, went home to be with Jesus her Savior on Dec. 13, 2007. She was born in Ebensburg, Pa., graduated from Phoenix Union High School and retired from the State of Arizona having worked many years in Phoenix and Prescott.

Jeanne's parents, William and Ethel Fleming, and sister Noreen preceded her in death.

She is survived by brother Bill Fleming (Betty) of Phoenix, Ariz.; sister Romaine Kinsey (Frank) of Las Vegas; children Beverly Phillips Jones (Gene) of Willcox, Ariz., Paul David Goss of Tucson, Ariz., Debra Goss Szydlik of Houston, Tom Goss (Linda) of Phoenix, and Terry Goss Ebersole (Jim) of Corpus Christi, Texas; grandchildren Ron, Melinda, Shelley, Chesley, Grant and Paul; great-grandchildren Faith and Mario; nephews, aunt, cousins, many friends, and Murphy, her faithful and devoted Yorkie.

Our cherished sister, mother and grandmother (Mima) fought a noble and courageous battle with cancer. Her life was exemplified by quiet dignity, strength of character and a strong work ethic. She had a patient, kind and humble spirit that was obvious to all who knew her.

Private services took place earlier. Arrangements by Allen Mortuary with burial at Resthaven Park Cemetery, Phoenix, Ariz.

Jeanne's family wishes to extend their thanks and appreciation to the wonderful staff of East Mesa Hospice Family Care who went above and beyond with help and encouragement.

In lieu of flowers, any donations in Jeanne's memory may be made to The Hospice Family Care Foundation, 1550 S. Alma School Rd., #102, Mesa, Ariz., 85210.
