The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Sunday, December 23, 2007 Kenneth Frederick Greene, 87, died at his home in Prescott Valley, Ariz., on Dec. 19, 2007. He was born Feb. 16, 1920, in Brighton, Ohio, to Roy and Olive Greene Sr. In 1942, he wed his high school sweetheart, Dorothy Eilene Holmes. They had six children: Richard (Debbie) Greene of Prescott Valley, Ariz., Sharon (Weeden) Marchbanks of Bouse, Ariz., Beverly (Charles) Joy of Pipe Creek, Texas, Robert (Carol) Greene of Cottonwood, Ariz., David (Sherrie) Greene of Prescott Valley, Ariz., and Roger (Iris) Greene of Prescott, Ariz. His beloved Dorothy passed away in 1994. Ken married Marjorie Mae Warmoth in 1996. She survives him along with one stepson, Dan (Wendy) Warmoth, and two step-grandchildren, all of Chino Valley, Ariz. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren and one brother, Roy Greene Jr., of Brighton, Ohio. Ken and Dorothy moved from Ohio to Prescott in 1956 for health reasons along with their first five children. Their youngest son was born a year later in Prescott. Ken worked as an auto mechanic at several shops in Prescott until retirement in 1996. We love you, Dad and Grandpa, and miss you terribly, but you have left us with many wonderful memories. A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 28, 2007, at the Fountain of Life Church, corner of Sunset Lane and Lynx Lake Drive in Prescott Valley. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Ken's name to the Yavapai Regional Medical Center Hospice, 3262 N. Windsong Drive, Prescott Valley, Ariz., 86314.
