Helen (Ryan) Fletcher

Helen Ryan Fletcher passed peacefully in her sleep on Dec. 30, 2007, at the age of 92. Born in 1915, she was in her prime in the 1930's and 40's. She was a beautiful woman who dressed stylishly. She loved to read and was proud of her collection of Kathleen Norris novels.

For most of her adult life, she lived in San Diego, Calif.. where she could often be seen roaming Balboa Park and visiting the zoo. She dedicated her life to caring for her husband, Floyd Fletcher, and to raising her children. She gave her children the greatest gift of all - unconditional love.

She is survived by her daughter, Joy Pettycrew, of Chino Valley, Ariz., daughter Judi Howard of Daytona,Fla.,son John of San Diego, Calif., and grandchildren and great-grandchildren who all love and miss her.

No funeral services are planned.
