The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Friday, December 9, 2005 Dorothy (Newenham) Knepler, age 88, born April 6, 1917, in Illinois, died at Las Fuentes, in Prescott, Ariz. on Dec. 7, 2005. Dorothy's hobbies included creative arts, and cooking, especially new recipes. She also enjoyed spending time gardening and spending time with family and friends. Dorothy is survived by two daughters, Deanna Baker (Charles) of California/ Karolyn Trowbridge (Fred) of Chino Valley; three sons, Thomas Knepler and William Knepler of Prescott and Donald Knepler (Francoise) of Georgia; several brothers and sisters; four grandchildren, Philip, Jennifer, Alex and Eric; and several great- grandchildren. Dorothy was preceded in death by seven siblings, including her twin sister, Doris, December 2004. A private cremation will be held at Bradshaw Chapel in Prescott Valley. Inurnment will be held in Illinois at a later date. Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements. Information provided by survivors. |
