Audley A. Jacobson

Audley A. Jacobson, a retired Post-Dispatch employee, died Friday (April 15, 1994) at a nursing home in Prescott, Ariz., after a series of strokes. He was 83.

Mr. Jacobson, of Prescott Valley, Ariz., worked in the composing room at the Post-Dispatch from 1965 until he retired in 1975. He moved to Arizona in the 1980s.

He was born and grew up in Rockford, Ill., and served in the Army in the 1930s.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Prescott Valley. The body will be cremated.

Among survivors are his wife, Lillian Jacobson of Prescott Valley; and a sister, Alice Scroll of Rockford.
