Owensboro Messenger-Inquirer, Owensboro, Kentucky Friday, October 14, 1994 Raymond W. Alvey, 72, of Prescott, Ariz., formerly of Owensboro, died Monday, Oct. 10, 1994, at Yavapai Regional Medical Center in Prescott. He was born in Owensboro and moved to Prescott from Glendale, Calif., 1 1/2 years ago. He retired as a manager for Pacific Bell Telephone Co. in Los Angeles and was a member of Sacred Heart Parish Center in Prescott. Survivors include his wife, Marjorie Anne Alvey; two sons, R. Michael Alvey of Tustin, Calif., and John E. Alvey of Fullerton, Calif.; two daughters, Linda M. Barrett of Glendale and Mary Sue Alvey of La Crescenta, Calif.; six grandchildren; and two brothers, Curtis and Jim Alvey, both of Owensboro. A scripture service will be held at 1 p.m. today at Memory Chapel Mortuary, 131 Grove Ave., in Prescott. Additional services and burial will be in California. The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the American Heart Association, Arizona Affiliate, P.O. Box 7038, Phoenix, Ariz., 85011. |
