A celebration of Richard L. Lemley's life will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Prescott, Ariz. Mr. Lemley, formerly of Riverside, died Saturday of a heart attack at Yavapai Regional Medical Center in Prescott. He was 73.

Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home in Prescott is handling arrangements.

Inurnment will be private.

Mr. Lemley, who was born in Vienna, W. Va., lived in Riverside 51 years. He moved to Prescott in 1992.

He was a chartered agent for New York Life Insurance Co. in Riverside for 26 years before he retired in 1992.

Mr. Lemlely was a veteran of World War II, having served five years in the U.S. Army Air Corps.

He was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church.

Mr. Lemley enjoyed traveling, camping, fishing and playing golf and was an avid sports fan. .

He is survived by his wife, Jeanette; three sons, Richard Lemley of Stateline, Nev., James Pratt of Reno and David Pratt of Redding; eight daughters, Della Reeves of Hemet, Joyce McIntire of Thousand Oaks, Rosalee Sherman of Boulder City, Nev., Bonnie Almberg of Henderson, Nev., Nancy Rettig of Riverside, Christine Anderson of Mira Loma, Debra McCormick of Santa Rosa and Lori Jane Herman of South Lake Tahoe; 19 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three brothers, Edwin, Jerry and Bill Lemley, all of Vienna, W.Va; and four sisters, Ruth Burrows of Mantua, Ohio, Doris Johnson of Huntington, W. Va., Glenna Lemley of Parkersburg, W. Va. and Lois Austin of Point Pleasant, W. Va.

The family suggests memorial contributions to the Richard Lemley Memorial Fund, Trinity Presbyterian Church, 630 Park Ave., Prescott, Ariz., 86303 or to the American Heart Association, 2702 N. 3rd St., Suite 4015, Phoenix, Ariz., 85004.
