ARIZONA -- Margareatha "Margie" DeVore, 81, died Sept. 14, 1995 in Prescott, Ariz.

Born April 18, 1914 in Kent to Marion Kirkhart and Margaret Watkins Kirkhart, Mrs. Devore had been a resident of Arizona for the past 40 years. She had worked as a registered nurse in Mesa at the Mesa Lutheran Hospital. Margie had been a private nurse and had worked as a Medevac Flight Nurse, and received her nurse's training and education from Akron City Hospital. She was a member of the Eastern Star in Prescott, Ariz.

Preceded in death by husband, Paul, in 1986, she is survived by son and daughter-in-law, John Paul and Jackie DeVore of Missoula, Mont.; daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Jerry Wirth of Phoenix, Ariz.; sister, Betty Goerky of Ohio; eight grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held in Prescott, Ariz.

The family suggests memorials to Spina Bifida Foundation, 1001 E. Fairmont Ave., Phoenix, Ariz. 85014, in her name.

Hampton Funeral Home in Prescott, Ariz., assisted the family with the arrangements.
