| The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Wednesday, January 9, 2008 Eva Mary Grossi (Miola), age 92, born July 1, 1915, passed away Jan. 4, 2008, in Prescott, Arizona, cameto the USA with her family from her native Italy in 1927. She had many fond memories of her shipboard experiences and arriving at Ellis Island, N.Y. Eva met David and they were married in April 1940. They lived in the Boston area until they moved to Prescott in June 1999. Eva was a woman of boundless energy. Her family was the most important part of, her life. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, David; her son Pat and daughter-in-law Donna, also of Prescott; her sister, Margaret; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. We will miss her joy of life and her wonderful cooking skills. Commemoration services in honor of Eva will be 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 10, 2008, at Sunrise Funeral Home Chapel with Father Dan Vollmer officiating. Burial will follow the services at Mt. View Cemetery in Prescott, Ariz. Arrangements entrusted to Sunrise Funeral Home. Information provided by survivors. |
