Robert Walden Wing

Robert W. Wing went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Jan. 24, 2008. He was born in Phoenix, Ariz., on Oct. 4, 1931, to Walden Thomas and Estella (Morden) Wing.

Bob had lived in Prescott since 1971. He was an auto mechanic until he retired in 1994. Bob loved camping and fishing and spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by companion Penny Koerner; children and their spouses David (Brenda) Gilbert of Surprise, Ariz., Rebecca Medina of Prescott, Don Gilbert of California, Sue Wussow of Phoenix, Arthur (Cathy) Gilbert of Colorado, Judy (Winfield) Scott of Alabama, Rae Lynn (Kent) of Phoenix, Alan(Margaret) Wing, of Maricopa and Carla (John) Beyea of Dewey, Ariz.

He is also survived by a brother, sisters and their spouses Larry (Shirley) of Nevada, Lou (Bruce) of Prescott Valley, and Flora Beth Press) of Massachusetts; 26 grandchildren; 19 great-grand-children; and numerous nephews and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Rie and wife of 36 years, Delia Wing.

Heritage Memory Mortuary is handling funeral arrangements.

Viewing will be l;30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2008, followed by the service at 2 p.m. at the Prescott United Methodist Church.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Trauma Intervention Program of Arizona Inc., P.O. Box 25195, Prescott Valley, Ariz., 86312.
