| Margaret 'Brownie' Jane Brown Born in Dawson, New Mexico on Jun. 20, 1908. Departed on Aug. 25, 2002 and resided in Cottonwood, Ariz. Margaret June''Brownie'' Brown, 94, of Cottonwood died August 25. She was born June 20, 1908 in Dawson, Territory of New Mexico. She was a longtime member of the Methodist Church of Espanola, New Mexico and joined the Mountain View United Methodist Church in Cottonwood. She was a member of the church's Martha Circle and also the Wives of Professional Engineers. She was a resident of Santa Fe from 1928 to 1987. Mrs. Brown is survived by three daughters, Mary Fancher of Cornville, Nan Arnett of Rotan, Texas and Margaret Olsen of Tehlequah, Oklahoma; nine grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and one great-greatgrandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Brown, a daughter June Hubbard and a grandson John Arnett. A memorial service will be held Friday August 30, in the Westcott Funeral Home at 11 a.m. Donations in her memory may be made to the Heiffer International, P O Box 8058, Little Rock, Arkansas 72203-8058.
