Gilbert M. Gonzales, 55, of Prescott passed away at his home and went to be with his Heavenly Father Friday, March 31, 2006.

He was born Nov. 20, 1950, in Snowflake, Ariz. to Procopio and Jovita (Marquez) Gonzales.

Gilbert was a meat cutter for 27 years at Fry's Foods in Prescott.

He loved spending time with his family, fishing, camping, hunting, and especially loved "The Annual Labor-Day Gonzales Fest."

He was preceded in death by his father, Procopio, and daughter, Mysty.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Wanda; his son, Tony; his mother, Jovita; brothers, Juan B. (Filomena) and William; sisters, Patsy Cotney (Robert), Arminda Jaramillo and Dora Gonzales, and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation and Rosary were held on Monday, April 3, at Heritage Memory Mortuary and funeral services were held Tuesday, April 4, at Sacred Heart Parish.

Internment was at Mountain View Cemetery with full military honors.
