Departed on Oct. 26, 2008 and resided in Cornville, Ariz.

Vernon J. Beeler, Jr., 65, of Cornville, Ariz., died October 26. He was born January 20, 1943 in Gainsville, Texas, the son of Vernon and Theda "Dutch" (Sheegog) Beeler.

He attended Flagstaff High School and then joined the Navy. Mr. Beeler retired from Yellow Freight and also from Jonesco. He also worked at the Mormon Lodge with their catering service.

His hobbies included motorcycle riding, two step and being a great grandpa.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Georgia "Jeanie" Beeler.
Mr. Beeler leaves a daughter Stephanie Foster(and her husband Richard ) of Arizona; two brothers, Kenneth Beeler (and his wife Shirley) of Oklahoma and Steven Beeler (and his wife) of Texas; two sisters Peggy Beeler of Washington, DC and Rucelle Chidester (and her husband) of Arizona; a sister in law Ruth Titus (and her husband Paul) and four grandchildren.

A service with military honors will be held on Monday, November 17 at the Prescott National Cemetery at 11 a.m.
