Betty Virginia (Zaiaudek) Klamert

Betty Virginia Klamert, nee Zaiaudek, was bom in St. Louis, Mo. on July 9,1918, and died in Prescott on March 24, 2006, at the age of 87.

Betty met her husband Russell in St. Louis, and they were married on Oct. 28, 1939. They moved to Arizona and settled in Phoenix in 1951 with their two young daughters, Barbara and Judy, where they lived for 15 years. They then moved to Pinetop, Ariz., and lived on the edge of the forest until 1983, when they made their final move to Prescott Valley.

Betty and Russell were active with both church and community affairs during their entire 66-year marriage.

Betty was preceded in death by her daughter Barbara, and is survived by her loving husband Russell and daughter Judy Gaudet; five grandchildren, Glenda, David, Laura, Julie and Sharon; 11 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

A memorial service will take place at 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 2, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 3950 N. Valorie Drive, Prescott Valley.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Alzheimer's Association of Northern Arizona, 225 Grove Ave., Prescott, AZ 86301.
